Meet Acts of Humanity: The Power of Purposeful Events Contributor – Sharon Gillenwater

In Acts of Humanity: The Power of Purposeful Events (available early August) we had the pleasure of working with a number of contributors. Each brought insights, stories, and experiences that resulted in a fabulous book.

One such contributor is Sharon Gillenwater. Sharon is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Boardroom Insiders. She founded the company after repeatedly seeing tech teams struggle to communicate effectively in C-suite conversations. After running it for fourteen years, she sold it in 2021; she now publishes business content around her book Scaling with Soul.

Sharon helped reinforce a principle central to the book: if you do not truly understand your audience, you are unlikely to create something that resonates with them.
